Application for Issuance of Equivalence Certificate

Equivalent to LL.B. Degree for Enrolment as Advocate • Pakistan Bar Council

Through its Legal Education Committee,
Supreme Court Building, Islamabad.

Dear Sir,

1. After doing my previous qualification from I have acquired the following degrees/diploma/certificates, the detail is as below:

and now request to the Pakistan Bar Council to issue equivalence certificate in respect of my above qualification to that of LL.B. degree, so that I may get myself enrolled as an Advocate to start law practice and join the legal profession in Pakistan.

2. I enclose herewith certified copies of following documents *
  1. My educational testimonials e.g. Matric Certificate, Intermediate/’A’ level Certificate, Degree and Diploma etc. together with detail of courses of study/transcript.

  2. Documentary evidence from relevant regulatory authority of concerned Foreign Country regarding accredited status of the University/Institution from where Degrees and/or Diplomas have been obtained.
  3. Duration of study of degree and Diploma.

I undertake to furnish any additional information/documents if required by the Legal Education Committee of the Pakistan Bar Council, at any subsequent stage.
